Prayer - Yours Is The Kingdom (HP21)

Mat 6:13  And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

Is your physical body (or life) the kingdom of God, where you have surrendered to Him to allow His power to transform you, so that in you He is glorified

Kingdom of God in us

Luke 22:28-30  “But you are those who have continued with Me in My trials. And I bestow upon you a kingdom, just as My Father bestowed one upon Me, that you may eat and drink at My table in My kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.”

When we obey God and carry our own crosses, we make Him King thereby establishing His kingdom within us. Then, just as He would give the kingdoms to His disciples, He may give us our kingdoms by making us kings

Power of God in us

2 Cor 4:7-10  But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellence of the power may be of God and not of us. We are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— always carrying about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our body.

When the excellent power of God works in us, it will help us to endure all pains, persecutions, sufferings, sorrows, sicknesses, afflictions, etc. with peace and joy, so that we may manifest the life of Jesus in our bodies (glorifying Him)

Glory of God in us

1 Cor 6:20  For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Peter 4:12-13,16  Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you; but rejoice to the extent that you partake of Christ’s sufferings, that when His glory is revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy... Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.

Brethren, often it is not what we ask or say when we pray that matters, but the expression of our faith in Him. He is the Creator of heaven and earth, the Almighty God, holy and righteous and to Him 'nothing is impossible'. The Centurion believed Him (Mat 8), the Canaanite woman believed Him (Mat 15), the woman with blood flow believed Him (Mat 9), and all received healings. This is the faith in Him (the Almighty God, holy.....etc.) that our God is looking for (and not just a physician).
